Leena opiskeli taidetta Turun Taideyhdistyksen piirustuskoulussa -70 luvun lopun. Sitä ennen hän oli opiskellut Helsingissä taidetta iltalinjoilla sekä Ateneumissa että Vapaassa taidekoulussa. 

 

Leena studied art in Turku, Finland in the end of the '70s and was graduated from the art school as a painter. Before that she had studied art some years. She was in the search for answers for the deep questions of life and was drawn to transcendental meditation and yoga. She did not find peace in these. Art was not satisfying her either. In this situation God found Leena through Jesus. She received a new life. Life become meaningful and there was joy in what she did guided by God's Spirit.
